Shipping from Japan
All orders are dispatched from Japan. We carefully pack your stationery to help it arrive in good condition.
We ship to selected international destinations. Available delivery options depend on your delivery address and the items in your order. If no shipping option appears at checkout, please contact us through the Inquiry Form on our Contact Us page before placing an order.
We do not currently offer delivery within Japan.
Order processing
Orders are normally dispatched within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation. Processing days are Monday to Friday, excluding Japanese public holidays.
Processing time is separate from transit time. Any product-specific dispatch schedule, such as a preorder date, will be stated before purchase. If an unexpected issue delays dispatch, we will contact you with an update.
Delivery methods and shipping charges
We use Japan Post and selected express courier services, such as FedEx, depending on the destination, parcel and service selected.
Shipping charges vary by destination, parcel weight, size, delivery service and checkout currency. Available options and the applicable charge are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.
Where a free-shipping offer is available, the qualifying minimum spend and any conditions will be shown with the offer. Eligible orders will display a free-shipping option at checkout.
If your order cannot be shipped using the selected service, we will contact you to agree an alternative or arrange an appropriate refund. We will not charge an additional shipping fee without your agreement.
Estimated delivery times
Estimated delivery is 5–14 days after dispatch, depending on your destination and the delivery service used.
Transit estimates begin after dispatch and exclude order processing time. Customs checks, public holidays, severe weather and carrier disruptions may affect delivery.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. If your parcel is delayed beyond the expected delivery period, please contact us so that we can investigate. This does not limit any delivery or cancellation rights available under applicable law.
Tracking your order
For tracked delivery services, we will provide tracking information after dispatch. Tracking updates may take time to appear and may be less frequent while a parcel is travelling between countries.
If you cannot access your tracking information or the tracking status appears incorrect, please contact us through our Inquiry Form and include your order number.
Import duties, taxes and customs fees
Orders shipped internationally may be subject to the destination country's import rules. The arrangements below explain whether import charges are prepaid or payable by the recipient. Any taxes we collect will be reflected in your checkout total.
United States — duties and taxes prepaid (DDP)
Orders to the United States are shipped via FedEx under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms. Applicable import duties, taxes and standard customs clearance fees are included in your checkout total and settled through our shipping arrangements. You should not be asked to pay additional import charges on delivery. If you receive a request for an import charge, please contact us promptly so that we can resolve it.
European Union — consignments valued at €150 or less (DDP)
Eligible orders shipped to our supported European Union destinations with a consignment value of €150 or less are sent under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms. Applicable import VAT, duties and standard customs clearance fees are included in your checkout total and settled through our shipping arrangements. You should not be asked to pay additional import charges on delivery. Please contact us if you receive a payment request.
European Union — consignments valued above €150 (DAP)
Orders with a consignment value above €150 are shipped under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms. The recipient acts as the importer and is responsible for applicable import VAT, customs duties and carrier clearance fees that have not already been collected at checkout. These charges are separate from the shipping price and may be collected before or at delivery.
For these EU arrangements, consignment value means the value of the goods in the parcel, determined under the applicable customs valuation rules; it is not necessarily the full checkout total. We will identify the applicable delivery and tax arrangement before you place your order. The EU arrangements apply only to supported EU destinations, not to the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway.
Other destinations — DAP, with applicable checkout taxes
Orders to other destinations are generally shipped under Delivered At Place (DAP) terms. Applicable import duties, taxes and carrier clearance fees that have not already been collected by us are payable by the recipient before or at delivery. Customs authorities determine the applicable duties and taxes, and carriers may charge separate clearance or handling fees.
Where the law requires us to collect VAT, GST or another sales tax at checkout, we will do so. DAP does not mean that every tax is payable on arrival, and you are not responsible for paying the same tax twice.
Charges depend on the destination, the goods and their declared value. A low order value does not necessarily mean that an order is exempt from taxes or fees. Please review the information provided before purchase and contact the destination's customs authority if you need further information about local import requirements.
We declare parcels accurately and cannot mark purchases as gifts or understate their value.
Delivery addresses and customs information
Please provide a complete, accurate delivery address and any contact information required by the carrier. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to help, but changes may not be possible after dispatch.
You may need to provide information requested by customs or the carrier to complete clearance. Please respond promptly to avoid delays.
Delayed, missing or damaged parcels
If your parcel is delayed, missing or marked as delivered but cannot be found, contact us with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law. Dispatching a parcel does not automatically end our responsibility for delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. You can attach a photograph through our Inquiry Form. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for details. This reporting period does not limit your statutory rights.
Undeliverable or returned parcels
If a parcel is returned because of an incomplete address, non-collection, refusal or an unresolved customs request, please contact us to discuss the next steps.
If a delivery fails because you decline to pay properly disclosed charges that are lawfully your responsibility, or fail to provide necessary customs information, you may be responsible for reasonable return shipping, handling or redelivery costs where permitted by law. We will explain any proposed charge or deduction.
For parcels affected by import restrictions or other customs clearance problems, we will review the circumstances with you. You are not automatically responsible for costs caused by our error or failure to meet our obligations.
Refund requests will be handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law. We do not automatically refuse all refunds because of unpaid customs charges or clearance failure. Refusing delivery is not a substitute for notifying us of a cancellation.
Please contact us before sending any return. We will provide the appropriate return address and instructions.
